Melbu

Melbu is a small town (population 2002: 2200) located in the municipality of Hadsel in Northern Norway, in the county of Nordland. Melbu is one of two towns on the Hadsel island, the other being Stokmarknes. Melbu is host to the annual Summer-Melbu festival.

Infrastructure

Melbu has a ferry connection to the Lofoten islands. The nearest airport, Skagen airport, is about 25 kilometers away.
