Melanie Mayron

Melanie Mayron (born October 20, 1952 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American actress best known for playing photographer Melissa Steadman on the ABC drama thirtysomething, which ran from 1987 to 1991.

Mayron trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She has been active as a director of episodes of such series as Providence, Dawson's Creek, Ed, State of Grace, Nash Bridges, and Wasteland. She also directed the movie Slap Her... She's French (2002), starring Piper Perabo, that went under the name of She Gets What She Wants when it aired on the Family Channel in January 2005, and the film version of The Baby-Sitters Club (1995).

With her father, she has developed a line of skin care products for children, called Good Baby.
