Brett Meisner

Brett Meisner and the website www.rockandrollbadboy.com are a parody of the rock music journalism profession. Meisner claims to have had many articles published in Rolling Stone though to date none of his various journalism claims have been substantiated. The hoax is believed to have been started by a west coast radio disc jockey — though this is debatable because no one seems to know his name. Recently, speculation regarding Brett Meisner's identity brought the name "Jim Kunz" to attention – but like all things related to the hoax, it's unknown whether or not this is a perpetuation of the fabrication.
