Meiken Jolie

Meiken Jolie, also known as Belle and Sebastian, was an anime about a boy and his dog that aired on Nickelodeon starting in 1984. It was based on Belle et Sébastien, a children's book by French writer Cécile Aubry.

Premise

Sebastian lived with his grandfather and aunt in Spain. Along with his dog, Belle, Sebastian crossed the Pyrenees Mountains to get to France to find his his mother, a Rom.
