Mazda Mazda5
The 2006 Mazda5 is a small (C-class) minivan from Mazda with sales starting in Summer of 2005. It is based on Ford's global C1 platform, meaning it shares many parts with the Mazda Mazda3. Its most close relative is the European Ford Focus C-Max, though the Mazda5 will use minivan-style sliding doors in the rear. It is likely that this model will bear the Mazda Premacy name in European and Asian markets.
The Mazda5 will seat six in three rows of two seats each. The seats recline and slide front-to-rear, and fold flat to ease cargo loading. The wheelbase will be 108 in (2.74 m) and the overall length will be 177 in (4.50 m). The Mazda5 weighs nearly 3200 lb.
