Mayani bird sanctuary

Mayani Bird Sanctuary is located in the Satara district of Maharashtra state in India, near Vaduj. Lots of migratory birds come here during winter. Flamingoes from Siberia come here in large numbers. Around 400 of them were seen this year. Other birds like the Northern Shoveller, Stork and Kingfisher are also found here.
