The Mauritanian ouguiya (Arabic: أوقية; ISO 4217: MRO) is the currency of Mauritania. The only circulating currency other than the Malagasy ariary whose division units are not based on a power of ten, each ouguiya is comprised of five khoums خمس. As of January 19, 2005, 1 Euro is worth 335.049 ouguiya, while 1 US dollar is worth 258.100 ouguiya
