Matoran

From Lego's Bionicle franchise, the Matoran are the "average" people of the Bionicle world. The Matoran have a work based culture and uphold many virtues, primarily Unity, Duty and Destiny. In ancient times they lived in Metru Nui until Makuta came and put them into a deep slumber until the Toa Metru did rescue the sleeping Matoran and brought them to the island of Mata Nui where they lived until the Toa came and the fall of Makuta began culminating in the coming of the seventh Toa and the destruction of Makuta's lair of Mangaia.

Metru Nui Matoran

Nuhrii (nu-ree): A Ta-Matoran who wanted the Ta-Metru Great Disk to make a Kanohi.

Vhisola (vih-so-la): A Ga-Matoran who wanted the Ga-Metru Great Disk to make everyone like her but not Toa Nokama. Her plan worked halfway.

Ahkmou (ok-moo): A Po-Matoran who wanted to give the Great Disks to Nidhiki. On Mata-Nui he sold corrupted Kohlii balls.

Ehrye (ee-ree): A Ko-Matoran who wanted the Ko-Metru Great Disk to become a scholar.
Orkham (or-kom): A Le-Matoran who wanted the Le-Metru great disk for reasons unknown.
Tehutti (ta-hu-tee): An Onu-Matoran who needed the Onu-Metru Great Disk to become famous.
Note: These 6 were supposed to be the Toa Metru. But Makuta tricked Lhikan into choosing Vakama and Company.
Mavrah: An Onu-Matoran archivist who was a friend of Whenua. Both and another Matoran were studying discovered sea Rahi. After Whenua was rescued when he had fallen into the tank containing the Rahi, Turaga Dume ordered the Rahi to be extreminated. However, Mavrah escaped with the Rahi from Metru Nui. He died in Voyage of Fear.
Ihu: A Ko-Metru seer who was Nuju's mentor. He died in a chute accident.
Mata Nui Matoran
Ta-Koro
Takua: Adventurous Ta-Matoran. He is now Takanuva, a Toa.
Jaller: Captain of the Ta-Koro Guard. Used to be Jala.
Ko-Koro
Matoro: A Ko-Matoran who translates for Turaga Nuju.
Kopeke: A good Kohlii player from Ko-Koro.
Le-Koro
Kongu: Captain of the Gukko force of Le-Koro.
Tamaru: A Le-Matoran who wishes to fly a Gukko despite his fear of heights.
Po-Koro
Hewkii: The best Kohlii player from Po-Koro. Used to be Huki.
Hafu: An arrogant Po-Matoran carver who also plays Kolhii.
Onu-Koro
Taipu: A strong Onu-Matoran miner.
Onepu: Captain of the Onu-Wahi Ussalry.
Nuparu: An Onu-Matoran inventor who created the Boxor.
Ga-Koro
Macku: A good Kohlii player.

Hahli: A humble flax-maker. She is now the new Chronicler.
