Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat (demo)

Metal band Slipknot's first attempt at a major album which was released in 1996. A follow-up to be titled Crowz was planned but was never released. Crowz would have featured re-recorded and remixed versions of some of the songs from MFKR. Although Mick Thomson is credited in the booklet, he didn't play on the album; all guitar tracks were recorded by Donnie Steele.

Several of the songs on MFKR showed up on subsequent Slipknot albums. Only One and Tattered and Torn were re-recorded for the 1999 self-titled album, along with Slipknot, which evolved into (sic). Gently was re-recorded for the Iowa album, as was Killers are Quiet, which was renamed Iowa.
