Note: A controversy exists because, while all three reject statism and support a competitive free market and private property, modern anarcho-capitalism accepts economic arrangements that the earlier philosophies would have considered antithetical to their conception of a "free" market. For example, the original individualist anarchists opposed property rights for unused land and all forms of profit that could arise from it.
