Mark Radcliffe

Mark Radcliffe is a British Broadcaster, who came to prominence as a Disc Jockey on BBC Radio 5's Hit The North programme. His most famous work is as one half of Mark and Lard (with Marc Riley), presenters on Radio 1. The duo began on a late-night weekday slot before a brief and unsuccessful stint on the breakfast show, followed by a move to the early afternoon slot they occupied for the rest of their time at the station.

Radcliffe left Radio 1 in March 2004. He moved to an evening slot on BBC Radio 2 in June of the same year, presenting a show reminiscent of the 'graveyard slot' he had previously occupied on Radio 1.

He is a member of the (now defunct) Shirehorses and The Family Mahone.
