Marathon Ashland Petroleum
Marathon Ashland Petroleum is a US based petroleum corporation. It resulted from a merger of Ashland Oil and Marathon Oil. Its corporate headquarters are in Houston, Texas.
Marathon Oil Company owns 68% percent, while Ashland, Inc. owns 38% of this venture
Subsidiaries include the Speedway SuperAmerica chain of gas stations. They also own a number of refineries and pipelines.
As of 2005, Clarence P. Cazalot Jr. is the current President and CEO of the company.
