Mao Anying

Mao Anying (毛岸英) (1919?-November 20, 1950) was the eldest son of Mao Zedong and Yang Kaihui. Educated in Moscow, he was killed in action by an air attack during the Korean War. The death of Mao Anying in battle was often seen by communist-supporters as a sign of selflessness of the Chinese leader Mao Zedong.
