Malfoy family

The Malfoy family is a fictional family in the Harry Potter books. Malfoy in French means "bad faith". According to Hagrid, there isn't one decent member of this family. The three Malfoys identified in the series are Lucius Malfoy, his wife Narcissa, and their son Draco. The Malfoys are purebloods and Lucius is a Death Eater. Draco is in the same year as Harry Potter at Hogwarts and is in the Slytherin house. Dobby was their former house-elf.
