MafiaBoy

MafiaBoy was the Internet alias of a teenager from Montreal, Canada who hacked into Yahoo!, Amazon.com, Dell, Inc., and CNN with Denial-of-service attacks in 2000. He lived in Montreal, in the upscale neighborhood of West Island.

The RCMP kept a close watch on MafiaBoy when he started claiming on IRC chatrooms that he made the attacks. When MafiaBoy claimed that he brought down Dell, Inc., the RCMP grew suspicious since the attack was never publicized.
