Earl of Durham

The title of Earl of Durham was created in the Peerage of the United Kingdom in 1833 for John George Lambton, 1st Baron Durham, a prominent Whig politician.

The Earl holds the subsidiary titles of Viscount Lambton (1833) and Baron Durham (1828), both in the Peerage of the UK.
