Lleyn (sheep)

Lleyn sheep

Lleyn sheep are a breed of sheep from the Lleyn Peninsula, North Wales. They are bred mainly for wool, although have other qualities such as prolific breeding, quiet in nature, good maternal intincts and high milk yield.

They are suited to both upland and lowland grazing.
