Live365

Live365 is an internet radio Web site where members can create their own online radio station or listen to other Live365 broadcasters' online stations. There are about one thousand active stations, some of which play niche genres seldom heard on AM/FM radio.

To listen, one must register with a valid e-mail address and download the Live365 Player software. Live365 also offers a paid membership which allows you to listen to broadcasts commercial-free and avoid constant pop-up window ads. Advanced users can figure out how to tune in to Live365 via Winamp, iTunes, Real, Microsoft Windows Media Player, Terra Lycos, and other MP3 players to avoid the pop-ups. You choose stations from lists grouped by genre.

You can create your own radio station by purchasing a special Broadcaster membership. This allows you to create a playlist of MP3 files that can be heard by registered listeners. Live365 pays all royalties for songs played to the artists and record labels. Live365 provides helpful software to upload MP3 files and manage and schedule playlists.
