Liv Grete Skjelbreid Poirée

Liv Grete Skjelbreid Poirée (born July 7, 1974) from Hålandsdalen, Fusa, near the city of Bergen in western Norway, is a career biathlete. [[27 May] 2000 she married fellow biathlete Raphaël Poirée of France, and together Liv Grete and Raphaël have daughter Emma, born in January 2003.

As of the end of February 2004, Liv Grete Poirée has seven World Championship gold medals (one in relay), two Olympic silver medals (one in relay), and 20 Biathlon World Cup race victories. She is the only biathlete ever to have won four gold medals in a single World Championship.
