Lita Ford

Lita Rosanna Ford (born September 19, 1958) is a heavy metal singer whose peak popularity was during the 1980s.

Ford was born in London and moved with her family to the United States while still very young. She joined The Runaways at the age of 16, and after the group folded in 1979 began a solo career, but her first two albums were limited in their success.

Lita Ford was married to Chris Holmes (from W.A.S.P.) from 1986 to 1992. She has been romantically involved with Nikki Sixx and Tony Iommi. Currently, she is married to Jim Gillette, of the band Nitro.
