Lim Chong Eu
Tun Dato' Seri Dr. Lim Chong Eu was born in 1919 in Penang. He attended school at the Penang Free School. He was the Queen's Scholar in 1937 and obtained a degree in medical and surgery from the Edinburgh University in 1944.
Lim was an active politician and helds important posts such as President for MCA and Gerakan. He was also the Chief Minister of Penang from 1969 to 1990.
Lim has since retired from politics and concentrate in business. He is now a chairman and advisor for some large corporates.
