Lillian Thrasher

Lillian Thrasher was a Quaker woman. Born in Boston, MA, USA, she moved to Georgia, then North Carolina. In 1910, she moved to Egypt. While there, she founded the Lillian Thrasher Orphanage in the city of Asyut. She was forced to leave Egypt on March 27, 1919 Lillian Thrasher died in 1961.
