Lih Young has been a canidate for several public offices from Maryland. She has a Ph.D. in economics from the City University of New York.

Election campaigns

Young has been unsuccessful as a candidate for:

State Comptroller in 1998 and 2002
Rockville City Council in 2001
US Congress in 1996, 2000 and 2004
Rockville Mayor in 1997 and 1999
Maryland State Senate in 1994

Young has received less than 6% of the vote in every election she has been a part of.

Activism

According to Young's website, she has been a producer of the broadcast TV programs Twilight of Judiciaries (I, II, III) and Federal Shambles (I, II). She is also a member of the NAACP and the ACLU. Young has even run on the platform of PEACE AND CHILDREN FIRST! CHALLENGE AND CHANGE!, RESTORE THE CONCEPTS OF PRINCIPLE, FUNCTION, FAIRNESS, JUSTICE PROSECUTE, ELIMINATE SOCIAL ILLS.

Community

Lih Young is evicted from her home in Rockville.

Young lived in the community of Fallsmead for many years. Unfortunately, she did not pay her community dues or her taxes and was eventually evicted in 2004.
