Libertas

"Libertas" is Latin for "freedom".

In Roman mythology, Libertas was the goddess of freedom.

Libertas was also the famous motto of the Italian political party Democrazia Cristiana.

The motto Libertas is an ancient symbol of Republic of Ragusa (Dubrovnik). There is also the Libertas Flag, based on secondary flag of the Republic of Ragusa, which is flown in the old city of Dubrovnik today.
