Liahona

In the Book of Mormon, the Liahona (BoM Arabic لياحونا Liyāḥūnā) is a stone that displays instructions from God. Through its function as a compass, Lehi and his party are directed across the oceans to the Americas. However, the Liahona ceases functioning at times when the passengers of the ship lose faith in God.
