The Legion of Doom was the name given to Road Warriors tag team; during their runs in the WWF (now the WWE).

The LOD returned late in the 1990s to the WWF as LOD 2000. D-Generation X famously parodied the team, renaming them OLD.

The Legion of Doom made one final return to the WWE, brought back by Eric Bischoff to shake the tag team division up for one night only. They never returned to the WWE, as LOD team member Hawk passed away.

In the early 1980s, in the NWA's Jim Crockett Promotions, Paul Ellering had a stable called "The Legion of Doom" that included the Road Warriors, Jake Roberts, Matt Borne and Arn Anderson. It did not last long and the Road Warriors and himself were then called the Legion of Doom.
