Leg

Leg has multiple meanings:

  • For the limbs of animals that support them above the ground:
    • in the case of the legs of humans, see Human leg;
    • in the case of the legs of horses, see Equine leg;
    • in the case of the legs of crabs, lobsters, and their close relatives, see Crustacean leg;
    • as to common attributes shared by the legs of many types of animals (and limited discussions of various animal legs not mentioned above), see Leg (anatomy).
  • For the supporting structures of tables, chairs, and the like, see Furniture.
  • For structures providing three-point support, especially for equipment including an eyepiece, see Tripod.
  • For strokes sloping downward from the core of the letters K and upper-case R, and for the "tail" of upper-case Q, see those individual letters' articles, or Leg (typography).
