Lavaux
Lavaux is the northern shore of the Lake Geneva (Lac Léman) in the canton of Vaud in French-speaking Switzerland. It includes the premier wine-growing slopes between Lausanne and Vevey.
The shore is punctuated by lovely little towns, including Pully, Lutry, Villette, Cully, Forel, Treytorrens, Rivaz, and Saint-Saphorin.
The vineyards of Lavaux are protected from development.
