Lar Lubovitch

Lar Lubovitch was born April 9, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. He is a choreographer and founded his own dance company, the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company around 1969. Based in New York City, he and the company have toured worldwide.

In addition to the company, Lar has also done creative work in ballet, ice-skating venues, and musical theater notably "Into the Woods". He has played a key role in raising funds to fight AIDS.
