La'am

(Redirected from Laam)

La'am was an Israeli political party made up of the "Free Center" (which was a splinter group which left Herut), the State List and the Movement for Greater Israel which supported Israeli settlement in the West Bank and Gaza. Prior to the 1973 Knesset election, La'am joined with Gahal to form the Likud list and remained a faction in Likud for several years. La'am was an economically liberal group which opposed state intervention in the economy.
