Klaha
The Japanese singer and musician Klaha (real name: Haruna Masaki) found fame with the visual kei band Malice Mizer after replacing their former singer Gackt.
After the indefinite "hiatus" of Malice Mizer's activities, Klaha re-invented himself as a solo singer, a move he has been critisised for. His solo work comprises of piano driven ballads as well as more epic, orchestral pieces.
Since launching his solo career Klaha has released one full-length album – Nostal Lab (2002) – a mini-album, and a DVD. He is apparently suffering from ill health, leading to the closure of his official website, Cryptogram.
Previous to joining Malice Mizer, Klaha was the vocalist in a New Wave band called Pride of Mind. They released one album – Systems of Romance – and several demo tapes. He trained as an opera singer, but there is no known recording of Klaha singing opera.
