Kiyad

Khyad was a part in Mongolia in the early twelfth century. Khayd is Temujin's place of birth. His father, whose name was Yesugei, was the leader of Khyad. He was poisoned in 1184 by the Tatars, a branch of Turks.

One day Temujin's father decided to get a wife for Temujin from a country called Hongirood (now a part of China and Mongolia). Her name was Borte. And one day he left Khayd. When he got there they looked for Borte's family. They found them and Temujin stayed behind (which was the Mongolian way in the 12th century). When he went back, the Tatar people lied to him and gave him a poisoned drink. When he arrived at Khayd he gave an order to bring Temujin to his soldiers. The soldiers obeyed quickly. But Temujin and Borte didn't want to get away from each other.
