Kix (band)
Kix was an American rock and roll band.
The band started its life as Shooze, then changed its name to The Generators before eventually settling on Kix.
Kix was considered one of Maryland's top cover bands prior to their signing with Atlantic Records in 1981.
Kix's first major hit, "Don't Close Your Eyes", came in 1988.
This band was hard-hit by the decline in "pop metal" in the early 1990s, as well as financial troubles caused by their deal with Atlantic. Kix would break up in 1995.
