Kirk Yuhnke

Kirk Yuhnke is an American TV news anchor and reporter. He is the host of ABC 12 News weekend edition in Flint, Michigan. Yunhke was born in Buffalo, New York, but he grew up in Ohio. After graduating from Buckeye High School, in Medina, Ohio, he attended Kent State University, where he majored in broadcast journalism. Yunhke's career began at WNEO, a PBS station, where he worked as a reporter and anchor. He also produced a weekly public affairs/class program. With degree in hand, Yuhnke moved to Lansing, where he worked at WSYM-TV. While at WSYM, Yuhnke anchored the station's weekend news shows.

His hobbies include tennis, skiing, and playing with his dogs, Casey and Martin. He currently lives in Genesee County.
