Donnersbergkreis
Kirchheimbolanden is the capital of Donnersbergkreis. It is a small town in southwestern Germany. The first part of the name, Kirchheim, dates back to 774. It became a city in 1368, and the Sponheim family improved its security with many towers and walls. Many ancestors of current world monarchs were born in Kirchheimbolanden.
