Kim Zurz

Kimberly A. Zurz of Akron, Ohio, is an American politician of the Democratic party who currently serves as a member of the Ohio Senate.
She is a graduate of Firestone High School in Akron and attended the University of Akron.
Zurz served as an assistant to the Summit County, Ohio, treasurer. She served for 11 years as a member of the Summity County, Ohio, Council, serving three terms as president of the council.
Zurz was appointed to a seat in the senate in September 2003.
She also runs the Eckard-Baldwin Funeral Home in Akron, her family's business.
Zurz is married to Richard Zurz Jr. and they have three children.
