The Kia Rio is a small car made by the South Korean company Kia Motors, introduced in late 2000. The Kia is one of the most inexpensive new cars available in the United States. It comes with a 105 hp, 1.6 liter DOHC I4 engine. It is available as either a 5 door sedan, or a 4 door hatchback sometimes called the Rio Cinco in different regions. It is available in 5-speed manual transmission, or 4-speed automatic transmission options. A hybrid version is expected in 2006 as a 2007 model.
