Kazakhstan at the 1996 Summer Olympics
Kazakhstan competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. It was the first time that the nation had competed separately from the other republics of the Soviet Union. Kazakhstan had been a member of the Unified Team four years earlier. Kazakhstan competed under the IOC country code KAZ.

Kazakhstan sent six archers to Atlanta. Only one, Vadim Chikarev, won a match in the individual round. Chikarev had competed on the Unified Team in Barcelona. The women's team defeated the United States in the team round.
