Katherine Grainger
Katherine Grainger (born 11 December 1975) is a British rower.
She won silver at the 2004 Summer Olympics in the coxless pair with Cath Bishop, and silver at the 2000 Summer Olympics in the women's quadruple sculls.
Grainger has also won two medals at World Championships, a bronze in 1997 in the eight and a gold with Bishop in 2003.
Grainger has a Honours law degree from Edinburgh University, a Master of Philosophy degree in Medical Law from Glasgow University and is curently studying for a PhD in law at Kings College, London University.
