The Kansas City Blues of the Western League played three seasons in Kansas City from 1898-1900 before moving to Washington, D.C. and becoming the Washington Senators when the Western League became the American League and was promoted to Major League level. They later became the Minnesota Twins in 1961.
The Kansas City Blues of the American Association played from 1902 to 1954.
