Kanggye
Kanggye (Hanja: 江界)is the provincial capitol of Chagang, North Korea. Because of its strategic importance, derived from its topography, it has been of military interest from the time of the Ri Dynasty(1392-1910).

Geography
It is located at the merging point of 4 rivers, the Changia, ?,? and ?.
Transportation
Consummation Railway and the highway connect to Pyongyang and other locations, making Kanggye a transportation hub. Near Kanggye is a military and civilian dual-purpose air station.
Culture
Kanggye University of Education is located in the city.
Places of tourist interest include Inphung Pavilion and Mountain Ryonhwa.
Industry
From 1945, because of a hyper plant is running, manufacturing industry developed rapidly. Haeju has lumber processing mill and ceramic factory.
It has mining industry producing copper, zinc ore, coal and graphite.
