Kahless II

Emperor Kahless II is the current ruler of the Klingon Empire. He inherited the throne upon suggestion that he become a figurehead for the Klingon people. Though a clone of the original Kahless, Kahless II was warmly welcomed by his new subjects. Power, however, remains in the hands of the High Council, making Kahless II a constitutional monarch. At the time of Star Trek: Nemesis, it is believed he still sits on the throne, his rule ultimate throws in the question of whether the position of emperor will continue after his death. If so, it means the Klingon Empire will have a new dynasty ruling it.
