Juan N. Babauta

Juan Nekai Babauta (born September 7 1953, in Tapanag, Saipan) is current governor of the Commonwealth of The Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI)-- a United States insular area in the Western Pacific. He is currently seeking re-election in the upcoming 2005 Gubernatorial elections under the Republican Party banner. Previously, he served two terms as the CNMI's Resident Representative before assuming the post as Governor.
