Juan Gómez

Juan Gómez González, or "Juanito" (November 10, 1954 — April 2, 1992) was a famous and skilled football (soccer) player for Real Madrid in the 1970s and 1980s. He died in an car accident.

Juanito wore the number 7 shirt Real Madrid and was a centre forward. The supporters of Real Madrid sing "Illa, Illa, Illa... Juanito Maravilla" in every seventh minute of matches. Juanito also played 34 times for Spain, scoring eight goals. He played for his country in the 1978 and 1982 World Cups.
