Jorge Alfaro

Jorge Alfaro was one of the soloist of the dance group Guaracheros de Regla. Alfaro was also a well-known choreographer of Quinceañeras in Havana. Considered to be among the top dancers of the 1960s, he was regarded as being spiritally connected to the rhythms. His reputation as a dancer gained him a place with that of Vacallao from Orquesta Aragón and Castellanos, Beny Morés famous son.

He started his dancing career in San Miguel and Jacomino, then went to Regla where he joined the Guaracheros de Regla.
