Jorethang
Jorethang is a major town in south Sikkim, India. The town is situated at an altitude of about 300m above sea level and has a temperate climate. Jorethang lies on the way to Pelling from Darjeeling, Siliguri and Kalimpong. The route is well connected by buses and jeeps.
Jorethang lies of the Rangeet River, a tributary of the River Teesta. River rafting, trekking in the region can be undertaken at Jorethang. A few kilometres north lie the hot springs which become an added tourist attraction.
