Jopy

Jopy is a graffiti similar to "Kilroy" with the exception of being a bit more prolific and slightly more mysterious & definitely more annoying. Jopy graffiti was started in the upper midwestern United States in the early 1980's and has since become a staple graffiti of bathrooms and bars all across the world but also tends to be lathered over "out of the way" areas of most every landmark.

The meaning & origins of Jopy have been shrouded in mystery since its inception. The common response from the few people who actually know its origins & meanings is "Those know, don't say. Those who say, don't know". It seems that this response merely generates more anger and frustration for the many people who hate seeing Jopy everywhere.

Jopy has been spotted in the White House, the Great Wall of China, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate bridge, the Empire State Building, The Eiffel Tower, the Pyramids of Giza, and even a star has been named Jopy just to name a few of the millions of places Jopy has appeared.
