Joo (first)
Jōō (貞応) was a Japanese era name after Jōkyū and before Gennin and spanned from 1222 to 1224. The reigning emperor was Go-Horikawa.
There is another era, from 1652 to 1655 with same pronunciation but different kanji (承応)

On the 13th day of the 4th month of Jōkyū 4 (1222), the era became Jōō ("Righteous Answer"?)
