Jon Toogood

Jonathan Charles Toogood (born in Wellington, New Zealand, on August 9, 1971) is a member of the New Zealand band Shihad. He is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist.

He formed the band in 1988 with fellow Wellingtonian and Wellington High School student, Tom Larkin. In 1999 he re-located to Melbourne, Australia, but divides his time between the two cities.

Jon plays classic 1970s Fender Telecaster Deluxe and Maton Mastersound guitars.
