Jon Talbain

Jon Talbain (Gallon in Japan) is a video game character from the fighting game series Darkstalkers.

History

Jon Talbain is a werewolf from England. He was born in 1940. His mother died during childbirth, and his father gone forever, Jon was alone in the world. After discovering he inherited the curse of the werewolf, he shunned human society all together and set out to live in the woods. However, when things looked their worst, Talbain found something to live for, and that was to improve his fighting skills. He found out about the Darkstalkers tournament and he set out to prove himself. He also was told long ago that his curse would end once he "exceeded his true limits." He did this, but he wasn't entirely free of the curse. The second tournament came, and by this time, he could freely control his transformations, but he still wanted to be rid of it. And he entered the third Darkstalkers tournament. He found another werewolf like himself, except he was evil, and he fought and defeated him. It was at this point Jon realized he needed to seek out answers, and once again, he went out into the world to try and find them.

Cameos

In addition to the Darkstalkers series, Jon has also made brief cameos in the following games:

• Pocket Fighter: Seen in three stages. A shopping outlet, in Morrigan's stage and in the Chinese restaurant stage.
• Capcom Fighting Evolution: Seen in the Darkstalkers stage, hanging upside down.

Adding to that, he also appeared in the Darkstalkers OVA, title Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge, a four episode series revolving around Demitri, Donovan and Morrigan of the Darkstalkers universe.
